Friday countdown is an Opera browser widget that will show you how far away Friday is.
It will take the date and time information from your system´s internal clock, to show you a transparent beer jar that will be empty on Monday, and will be filled day by day, to become full on Friday, indicating you that it is time for your Friday beer.
Right-clicking on the image of the jar, you will access the context menu. Through it, Friday countdown will allow you to position the beer jar on any place of the desktop, on top or below any window. You can adjust the zoom level to modify the size of the beer jar from -10% to 200%. You can configure the program to show you notifications, use a proxy server and to be able to know your geographical location, or not.
It is not necessary to run the Opera browser in order to run this widget, but Opera must be installed in your system for the widget to work. Friday countdown will place an entry in the Start program, that you can use to launch the program if you want.
